I’m a writer who likes to work with her hands: making stuff and gardening. These days, like nearly everyone else it seems, I’m working from home, trying to create a bit of art, music, food, books, and events (though events aren’t exactly the thing to do right now…). I live in New England with my family, but am a midwesterner at heart—born and raised in Ohio. The initiatives I work on build local culture, creating counter-programming to the more soul-sickening aspects of modern life. Sometimes my family, friends and colleagues are involved in my projects, other times I’m on my own. This site features whatever I feel like posting , as well as random recaps of Downton Abbey, back when we were all obsessed with it.
